This item states Subcontracting for base services is not allowed. Subcontracting for additional services is allowed, only with prior written approval Does this mean CDW would not be able to work with a partner, such as Diebold for example, to bid on this contract? 
Answer : Subcontracting for base services is not permitted under this contract. Only one (1) vendor will be awarded as the Primary under this contract.

If it is determined at some point during the contract term that the cabling used in a given installation does not meet the standards set by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) would it be the responsibility of the vendor to replace the cabling as part of this contract?

Question : Thank you for the reply, however after a thorough search of M-DCPS Master Specifications section we have been unable to find any specification relating to CCTV systems. If one does not exist please indicate that is the case or alternately please indicated which Specification contains that information. Thank you. Part 3 Execution, Section 3.0 Vendors Maintenance Responsibilities and Services Cover By Base Bid Of This Contract makes reference to: M-DCPS Master Specification Guidelines - Please indicate where that document can be obtained. 
Answer : A thorough review of the 2004 Design Criteria specifically under Division 13 beginning on page 13 of 25 will provide the vendor with the 2004 criteria regarding cameras. In addition a thorough review of the 2008 Design Standards Supplement beginning on page 22 of 39 will provide the vendor with the latest updates regarding the Districts criteria regarding cameras. The link provided will take the vendor to the Districts Design Standards section. These two sections can be found on the upper right-hand side of the web page right under the Design Standards area which is recorded in a blue background box on the web page. The 2008 Design Standards Supplement is just below the Design Standards heading with the 2004 Design Criteria link just below the 2008 supplement link.
