Question : (1) Is a bidder required to submit a bid on all five groups, or is it allowable to bid only on selected groups? (2)Want to confirm that bid prices to be submitted are to include collection costs, disposal costs, container rental costs, and energy surcharges. (3) Page SC 3 number 13 refers to cardboard recycling. Are all services listed for only msw or does this bid include cardboard recycling container services? If this bid does include cardboard recycling services, how are cans identified for recycling, and for garbage?  
Answer : (1)Bidders are not required to bid all groups, but each item of an individual group must be bid to be considered for that group. (2) Yes, all costs are to be included in the bid price submitted. (3)This bid does contain cardboard recycling services. Vendor is to provide containers. Our current recycling containers are identified by color.

Question : 1. - What are the payment terms? 2. - What is trash and what is garbage? 3. - How many asbestos pick ups are anticipated? 4. - What are the requirements for pick up in Coral Gables? 5. - What are the time requirements for pick up on Saturday. 6. - How will award of group totals be calulated? 7. -The space to enter pricing is small, can we enter the pricing under the text box? 8.- Do we have to enter information on the Bid Proposal sheet under the column for MFG and Model #? 9. - Can the 7am to 11am pick up window be expanded? 10. - On page 11 of the Bid Proposal Form, there is no column to enter the total for Group 5. Can we write it in on the blank space underneath? 
Answer : 1. The normal payment terms as listed on all purchase orders for M-DCPS is 45 days. 2. Trash is roll-offs Garbage is Commercial. 3. At most, 3 pick ups per year. No location under this bid has an asbestos container right now. 4. We can use the private hauler of our choice. 5. Saturday pick-ups are any time after 9am 6. Bidder should fill out individual group totals but the sum of estimated quanties multiplied by the bid price will determine the low group price. 7. Yes 8. No 9. Not at this time. 10. Yes
