All bids must be received at this address by this date and time. Late bids will not be accepted, so bidders are advised to make appropriate arrangements to ensure their bid is received at this address by this date and time.

Answer : All information regarding this bid solicitation is posted on the Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) Procurement Management Services Website: http://procurement.dadeschools.net/bidsol/asp/bid_portal.htm Bidders can access this information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days year-round. This website is public access and requires no membership to any premium search services. Bid documents can also be picked up at our offices here in Miami, Florida, however for fastest service it is encouraged that all vendors download the bid documents from the above mentioned website.

Subject : Bidding a different item to specifications other than the specifications listed in the bid 
Question : On refrigeration bid 066-FF03, we would like to bid a different number stainless exterior in lieu of 304 stainless exterior. This alternate exterior has been our standard construction for years and will provide the best economies for Dade. Is this acceptable to you? 
Answer : Bidders need to comply with the specifications listed in the bid documents. On those items which the approved brands state OR OTHER BRANDS MEETING SPECIFICATIONS, vendors may submit alternate brands and may be required to submit samples for testing for alternate items if requested by Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) within fifteen (15) working days of request. However submitting documentation or sample(s) with this bid or to the Department of Materials Testing and Evaluation does not guarantee that an alternate brand will be approved by M-DCPS as meeting specifications for this bid solicitation.

Subject : Installation and Removal of Equipment on Bid 
Question : Please advise if this bid involves removing existing items for the location of the new equipment listed on the bid. 
Answer : Yes. It is noted in Special Conditions 10 - Installation, that examples of non-standard installation can include removal of existing equipment to a designated location determined by M-DCPS. At the end of each bid category on the Format B (Items of Bid) Excel Spreadsheet, there is a bid line item HOURLY LABOR RATE for Bidders to include such services as indicated under Special Conditions 10.
