Question : Q1.With our calculations each student is eligible to receive $400 worth of services, correct?
Q2.Will students receive coupons or vouchers to redeem for the services?
Q3.These students are in private schools or academies how can they be eligible for title 1 services?

Answer : ANSWER 1: No, the cost for services will be determined by each individual provider’s proposal.
ANSWER 2: Students will receive neither coupons or vouchers for service. Services will be contracted by the District through the selected awardee(s), and the number of students served will be monitored by the District.
ANSWER 3: The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB), Section 1120 (a)(1) establishes the requirement that local education agencies (LEA, or school districts ) Shall provide educational services to children enrolled in private schools. Miami-Dade County Public Schools, after timely and meaningful consultation with private school officials, will be providing services as required by NCLB through contract with public and private agencies, organizations, or institutions as authorized in Section 1120 (5) of NCLB
