Subject : In Section V - Laboratory Services Initial Test Cut Off Levels 
Question : In Section V - Laboratory Services Initial Test Cut Off Levels, Opiate metabolites is listed at 300ng/ml whereas the current screening cut off as listed in Department of Transportation 49 CFR Part 40 is 2000ng/ml. Also, for the 8 panel, Benzodiazepine has a 150 screen cut off and Methaqualone at 750. Chapter 59A-24 of the Florida Drug-Free Workplace Standards has current screening cut offs at 300 for Benzodiazepine and 300 for Methaqualone. Please clarify if the Dade County School Board plans to conform with current Federal and State of Florida requirements or will this be considered non-regulated testing.  
Answer : The Miami-Dade County School Board plans to conform with current Federal and State of Florida requirements as usual. This is for the General Drug Screening portion of the program.

Answer : The Superintendent post his notice of intended action approximately 7 to 10 days before the award of item. This bid is scheduled to go to the June meeting.
