Subject : The following question was submitted by Heavy Duty Lift & Equipment:

Question : Q. Are these lifts going to be installed on new construction concrete? In existing clear bays free of any previous lifts with clean level floors and ready for new parallels?
Is there existing in ground lifts in the bays etc. or any old equipment that is in the way and who responsible for removing it if there is?

Answer : A. The lifts will be installed over flat floor concrete in old and new shops. In some cases, in-ground lifts will be removed and the space will be filled with a mixture of gravel and concrete. This expense is absorbed by M-DCPS. The vendor , who is awarded the contract, will be required to cut the floor, install the P.V.C. as part of their installation.
