Question : I have been trying to open the bid solicitation on the website with no success. Would it be possible for you to forward a copy to me?  
Answer : The link to the Procurement Management Services website is at the following address: http://procurement.dadeschools.net/bidsol/asp/ENACT.asp WHEN ONE CLICKS ON THE BID NUMBER “043-GG03” THE DOWNLOAD IS A ZIP FILE containing one (1) Adobe document and two (2) Excel Spreadsheets. If your computer is unable to open the file, an evaluation version of the WinZip program is available at http://winzip.com/ A copy of the bid can be picked up at the Procurement Management Services Office at the SBAB Building, Room 351. Another option is that a copy can be mailed to you upon request; however it is sent regular U.S. Mail. Should you want a copy sent via Next Day or Express Mail, you need to make arrangements with a delivery service that can pick up the bid solicitation from Procurement Management Services.

Subject : Invoicing Procedure 
Question : Will the fact that the delivery portion of the bid has changed from charging by the truck load to a Cwt basis change the invoicing procedure, as the procedure in the bid is designed for billing by the load? 
Answer : The bid specifications addresses that there are separate rates for dry, frozen, and refrigerated commodities. The calculations by percentage truckload could be still calculated based on Cwt per filled truck for each item, however to simplify the bidding process the unit Cwt can be used for billing. Details for billing will be provided to the awarded vendor(s) upon this bid being approved by the district.
