I am requesting clarification of delivery requirements as noted on page 15, Paragraph 10 and 10A, Bid #034-NN03, Food Service Trays and Containers. We note that in the opening paragraph, you require that "Deliveries will be made to the address as specified on each purchase order, or as otherwise specified by the Department of Food and Nutrition." In 10A, you state that "If requested by M-DCPS, the awarded bidder(s) must also be able to deliver to all schools in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Attachment SC: Listing of School Sites in Miami-Dade County is provided to assist the bidder(s) in understanding the scope and scheduling needed to service this bid solicitation." While US Foods is currently willing and able to comply with those requirements due to a separate agreement for food distribution with the District, in the event that agreement is not continued past its current end date, a requirement to deliver to all Miami-Dade schools would not be financially viable for us. Are your intentions to have awarded products shipped directly into your central warehouse or to individual school sites, or both? |
