Buyer : Barbara D. Jones
Subject : Item G.
Question : Item G. Are you asking for personnel by position with the requirements or must we provide the actual persons name and personal information? For example, for my teacher-do I provide the required educational requirements and job description or do we have to name an individual? Please elaborate regarding letters and endorsements. Are the letters to address individuals or agency itself?
Answer : Actual persons name and their qualifications. We need to know if the individuals being hired are qualified for the position. Letters of endorsement are to recommend the agency submitting the RFP.

Subject : number of students
Question : A. The RFP does not list the number of students or centers required to meet the needs of the district. As a proposer of services, are we to provide this number on our own based on what we believe is needed? Should this number be one specific number or can it be a range of students and/or facilities? B.If we propose such a number and it turns out to be a number of students/facilities that is either higher or lower than what the district needs, does it eliminate our agency as a possible provider or will there be an opportunity to negotiate this number if the other components of the RFP meet the requirements for award of a contract?
Answer : A.They need to provide the number of students based on their ability to serve their needs and the ability to accommodate students in their facilities. b. No, it will not eliminate the agency; adjustments will be made by the evaluation committee.

Subject : increase student performance
Question : Page 4, letter I requests that the proposer demonstrate how they will increase student performance on testing and reduce achievement gaps between groups. It references two attachments to the RFP. For clarification, the response is to be narrative in form and the attachments are merely providing the proposer baseline data on how the EAOP and JJP programs are doing and are NOT meant to imply formatting suggestions and/or specific requests for data other than what we would use to support our strategies outlined in the narrative response.
Answer : Yes, narrative in form only. The data serves a reference to develop the strategies and initiatives they will be implementing to reduce achievement gaps between subgroups as mandated by the District Strategic Plan and the No Child Left Behind Federal legislation
