Question : This bid seems to cover products that would need to be delivered ready to eat (hot) to individual schools. I was wondering if this is currently the only way that Miami Dade Schools is using Jamaican Patties and Latin Empanadas. 
Answer : Yes, as this is for fresh delivered to high schools and needs to be fully cooked, not for the menu.

Question : Since we have established and cultivated working relationships with schools we currently service, and these schools have chosen one vendor over the other even as many of these schools were approached by both vendors, will the schools no longer have a right to chose their preference? From what I understand from our pre-bid meeting, each particular school will be required to order bagels from the primary vendor only, unless the primary vendor is unable logistically to provide the products or services requested. Is that the correct assumption? Would you like samples to compare the bagels? 
Answer : Bidders should bid the school(s) that they are willing to service. We are not evaluating or specifying a particular cooking method for the bagels. This was never considered in previous bids either. There will be a primary vendor awarded as stated in the bid request. And, at this time no samples are required. Samples however, may be requested upon evaluation of the bid.
