Q: Citing the SLD USAC Form 471s (825362 & 825381 ) filed for M-DCPS for funding year 2012, notes the AT&T WAN contract #FL04-E843-02 expiration is 6/30/2013. Is the intend of the District to receive bids for the 10/100/1000Meg WAN services via this RFP Bid 011-NN04? Q: Is a contract extension planned for the existing AT&T WAN contract? Q: Page 18 ? Section #20; what is the intended meaning of ?Cone of Silence? paragraph heading.  
Answer : The matrix is built on Section 1 of Format B which is built on Like for Like Services of which the award of Total Low Price will be calculated. The requirement as explained in Special Conditions is that the provider furnish all required services as a bundled package.

Question : 1. Is there an available list of the 6 address that will require a Ethernet GIG connection2) 2. Section 2 Item 3 List Ethernet connections with CIR below 10mg.What I see is that all Ethernet connections have a min of 10MG leaving 0 Ethernet locations under 10 3. Section 2 item 2 Conference bridging services is requesting up to 750 users but does not require what the increments are. Do we fill that in 
Answer : 1. School Board Administration Building (SBAB) Jefferson Annex 155 NE 15th Street Room MIS105 to Information Technology Services (ITS) 13135 SW 26th Street Coral Way 2. There are 435 T1 Frame Relay circuits at school and administrative locations that come back to Information Technology Services (ITS) There are an additional 43 ADSL/DSL lines All others from Wiring Center Aggregation Points to the HUB at Information Technology Services (ITS) 13135 SW 26th Street Coral Way 3. Yes, There is a possible maximum of 750 users this will not always be the case what increments do you provide up to 750

Answer : If you are referring to Section 2 question 3 List Ethernet Connections with a CIR below 10 mb , 3b, 3c, 3d, 3e,3f allows for the possibility of incremental steps such as 1,2,3,5, & 10. The same applies for question 4 with a CIR above 10mb such as 10,20,30,50,& 100. If the cost is per each individual mb up or down is also acceptable and a fair comparison can be made. There is a comment space available for clarification.

Question : This question is in reference to the Bid Proposal Form, question 3. Today the Lightgate services M-DCPs has is between SBAB and ITS and their respective central offices. There is no DS3 going to ITS Annex or Central Maintenance. Since the pricing in Section 1 is a like for like pricing, we were wondering if the District needed new DS3 priced for these two locations or not. If not, could we just insert not applicable? 
Answer : I would expect a response for pricing for each from all parties.
