Cone of Silence

• The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, enacts a Cone of Silence from issuance of a solicitation through the time the item is presented by the Superintendent to the appropriate Board committee immediately prior to the Board meeting at which the Board will award or approve a contract, reject all bids or responses, or take any other action that ends the solicitation and review process. All provisions of School Board Rule 6325 - CONE OF SILENCE apply.
   
• Any Protest of Specifications, or Protest of Award, must be filed with the Clerk of the School Board. Failure to adhere to the filing requirements and timelines, as specified in School Board Rule 6320 - PURCHASING, shall constitute a waiver of proceedings.
